CONCEPT

First & Last has been prticularly successful in servicing our brand "Cafe Loyal". together, we are excited to announce a new franchise opportunity available within Canada. Cafe Loyal, an Asian fast casual inspired cafe, which serves traditional Asian dishes, prides itself on prormoting the positive aspects of Hong Kong Style culture using music, ambiance, community support, cultural education, and cooking techniques. 

THE MENU

Customers comes first. Cafe Loyal takes pride in their heart warming customer service. We provide our customers with a one-step ordering system with our TV ordering screens. Customers order their meal at the counter and picks up an order number. The number will be called once the food is ready (usually within five minutes).

THE SOCIAL MEDIA

We are featured on various social media platforms. Cafe Loyal has gained many likes and followers through social media, such as Google, Facebook, and Instagram.

Cafe Loyal also attracts more than 700 Loyal App downloads and over 10,000 Official website, CafeLoyal.com visitors.

THE MARKET

For over a year, Cafe Loyal has been an innovator in Asian Fast Food scene by using traditional Hong Kong Style cafe as the basis for all of its menu items, and presenting them in an original way unlike any other Hong Kong-style cafes in Canada. Thus, garnering a loyal following from customers and respect from industry peers.

1. WHAT IS THE COST OF OPENING A CAFE LOYAL?

The total cost of opening Cafe Loyal can vary depending on the location and size. Typically, it can range from $275,000-$375,000 security deposits, working capital, and taxes. The "turnkey' cost includes Franchise Fee, training, store design, equipment, leasehold improvements, construction, and a start up inventory of uniforms.

2. I HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE NEGOTIATING LEASES; WILL FORST & LAST MANAGEMENT TEAM OFFER ASSISTANCE IN THIS AREA?

Yes, First & Last Management Team will fully negotiate or aid in lease negotiations for Franchisees. 

3. WHAT HOURS WILL THE STORE BE OPEN?

In a typical location, the sotre would be open 24 hours, 7days a week. The hours of operation may change in site-specific circumstances. 

4. MUST A FRANCHISEE HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN FOOD RETILING?

No, First & Last will provide comprehensive training and operating assistance. The desire and effort of the Franchisee is more important than cooking or retailing experience.

5. CAN A CAFE LOYAL FRANCHISEE OWN MORE THAN ONE CAFE LOYAL FRANCHISE?

Yes, a Franchisee who has demonstrated success in organizing and operating a profitable Cafe Loyal may be eligible for new franchise opportunities. 

6. WHAT IS THE ROYALTY FEE?

No, First & Last will provide comprehensive training and operating assistance. The desire and effort of the Franchisee is more important than cooking or retailing experience.

7. WHAT IS THE ADVERTISING FEE?

No, First & Last will provide comprehensive training and operating assistance. The desire and effort of the Franchisee is more important than cooking or retailing experience.

8. WHAT IS THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE AND TRANING FEE?

THE Initial Franchise Fee is $25,000 and the Traning Fee is $5,000 plus applicable taxes payable upon execution of the Franchise Agreement. 

9. WHAT LEVEL OF INCOME CAN A FRANCHISEE EXPECT TO EARN?

There are many factors involved in determing the level of revenues and expenses of an individual store. The Franchisee's skills, location, overhead, costs, etc., will all have an influence. Accordingly, Cafe Loyal does not guarantee that any store will achieve any specific level of sales, profit, or cash flow.

11. IS THE FRANCHISEE REQUIRED TO BUY SUPPLIES AND INGREDIENTS DIRECTLY FROM FIRST & LAST?

No, First & Last will provide comprehensive training and operating assistance. The desire and effort of the Franchisee is more important than cooking or retailing experience.

  • Size  2700-3000 SF preferably an end cap or corner location with a minimum 40' frontage with signature roll-up window. 
  • Parking 10 cars per 1000 SF plustwp 15 minute spaces for take-out GLA or 50 cars exclusive to Cafe Loyal
  • Patio  500 SF exclusive patio
  • Access Pair of front entry doors, patio exit door, and rear delivery door
  • HVAC 1 ton per 150 SF
  • Electirc 200 amp, 277/480V 3 phase/4 wire
  • Gas 800-1000 C.F.H with 1,500,000 BTUs
  • Sewer 4" sewer line stubbed to premises
  • Water 1.5" water line minimum stubbed to premises
  • Grease Interceptor to trap as per local code provided and waste line stubbed to premises
  • Signage 2+ building signs plus monument or pylon

LOCATION CRITERIA

Restaurants will be located primarily in lifesyle centers or multi-purpose developments that combine residential, commerical, retail and office use with high traffic and good visibility. Proximity to regional malls, entertainment centers and major employment bases are essential. Centers should be located on major roadways with the highest traffic counts possible. Easy accessibility to the center along with good visibility to the street is important.
